Exploring Professional Practice: You will critically review your professional practice, using this as the basis for planning your professional and personal development. Research for Practice: You will develop your knowledge and confidence so you can find, appraise and apply evidence to your nursing practice. This module will also enable you to attain the necessary knowledge and skills to analyse the research process and debate the potential for research to influence practice. Education for Practice: You will develop your knowledge, skills and values in relation to your professional education, while also developing a critical understanding of educational theories and concepts and how these can be applied in different cultures and contexts. Leadership & Change: You will develop your leadership skills within the context of your own practice, including developing an understanding of leadership models, change management and applying traditional and recent theories within healthcare settings. Dissertation: To develop your knowledge and understanding of research, you will undertake an evidence review or a research proposal relating to your area of professional practice or an optional workplace experience.
