众所周知，美国人尤其是年轻人，在沟通中经常喜欢使用俚语作为口头禅，很多即使英语非常棒的小伙伴刚到美国跟身边的同学沟通偶尔也会发懵，为预防发懵，芥末君总结了一大串美国人喜欢的口头禅，与同学们分享，预防发懵～

1. You bet. 你说的没错
 
bet有打赌、下赌注的意思，所以You bet有种你读对了的意思，跟That's right还有 Exactly意思差不多。

2. Way to go.干得好
这句话用来称赞别人做的很棒、干得好的意思，跟Good job的意思差不多。

3. There / Here you go. 给你
这句话常用在别人把东西交到你手中时会说的一句话，比如你去店里买东西付完钱，店员把东西递给你就会说there you go. 

4. I was just like.  我就这样说...
I was just like…的意思就是“我就好像…”，是用在描述一件事情给别人听的时候，叙述当时的情况，类似于我们中文常说的“我那时候就……”

比如：
A: When the man was about to kick the dog, I was just like, “Hey! Don't do that!"当时那个人要踢狗的时候，我就说“喂，别这样做”
B: Wow! That was the right thing to do.你做得对！

5. Whatever 随便啦、无所谓
 
这句话跟我们中文里的“随便、无所谓”是一样的意思，whatever有时也出现在句尾，表示who cares，是很常见的用法。不过，据美国一项调查显示，这句常挂在嘴边的whatever竟然登上了最令人反感的口头禅宝座！当你用whatever来回答别人时，有种不在乎的感觉，所以whatever也不能乱用啊。

6. The thing is, we need to talk. 重点是，我们必须得谈谈。
说到重点的时候我们通常会想到“The important thing is…”，但其实直接说“ The thing is… ”就有要表达重点的意思了，也可以说Here's the thing. 

7. Kind of. 有点儿
kind of 跟 sort of 的意思一样都是用来表示“一点点、还可以、好像有、有一点”的意思，比如当有人问你 Do you like tea? 如果你有一点喜欢也不排斥的话，你就可以说 “Kind of.”。kind of / sort of 都可以用在很多地方，而且美国人说的时候很快，听起来就像 kinda 或 sorta，在打字的时候也可以这样打。

比如：
A: This is kind of expensive. 有点贵
B: Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. 我也这么觉得。

8. Guess what? 你知道吗？
当要叙述一件令人惊讶的事情的时候，美国人常在句首加上Guess what?或You know what?来加强语气

比如：
Guess what? He is going to get married. 你知道吗？他要结婚了！

9. Exactly. That's what I'm saying. 没错，就是这样！
 
当你要符合别人说的话时，可以说exactly (没错), obviously/ apparently (显然地), absolutely (绝对地), definitely (没错) 来附和他，然后再陈述你的看法。

下面这些歪果仁们最常用的口语，赶紧熟悉熟悉吧！

God works. 上帝的安排。
Not so bad. 不错。
No way! 不可能!
Don't flatter me. 过奖了。
Hope so. 希望如此。
Go down to business. 言归正传。

It doesn't work. 不管用。
It is a long story. 一言难尽。
Between us. 你知，我知。
Talk truly. 有话直说。
I'm going to go. 我这就去。
Never mind. 不要紧。
Is that so? 是这样吗?
Come on, be reasonable. 嘿，讲讲道理嘛。
When are you leaving? 你什么时候走?
You don't say so. 未必吧，不至于这样吧。
Don't get me wrong. 别误会我。

The line is engaged. 占线。

I'm afraid I can't. 我恐怕不能。
